We utilise a VLE to directly teach online and provide teaching materials, Students can now attend from any location provided they have Internet, computer, phone or tablet access and complete their course in a timely, safe and practical manner.  We are able to deliver our theory, practical and demonstration via the VLE.  This means attendance onsite is currently only required for Practical assessment, Practical Exams and online exam.

This also means that students who are unable to attend classes or sessions can still be provided with catch-up works and notes, material and session recordings.

Once the payment has been received we will provision your access and send you the registration form and VLE classroom login details and distribute our schedule via the calendar built in the the VLE.

If you are just starting out, we recommend you complete the Level 2 course in Beauty Therapy, the first of the NVQ courses.

NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy course is an internationally recognized qualification. It is ideal for beginners who are looking to become a professional therapist, starting a career in beauty, or looking to start up a beauty business, and also great for experienced therapists who currently working but want to gain a national recognized qualification.

This course is a fast track course attending 12 days plus two days practical exam, which could be done two days a week for 6 weeks or one day a week for 12 weeks normally completing in 6 or 12 weeks (3 months); ideal for students who are currently working and who do not have time to do a full year course in college. Our classes are always small groups, allowing us to ensure everyone is taken care of, everyone is taking part and equal, and gets knowledge and experience.

Prerequisite Covid-19 course

• The VTCT (ITEC) Level 2 Award in Infection Prevention (COVID-19) for Beauty Therapy and Nail Services

If you’re holding an individual certificate of some unit above and want to upgrade for full diploma certificate this is also available.

This course includes prrequisite Covid-19 qualification. You are required to enroll prerequisite Covid-19 course along with this course to be able to carry assessment. This course will develop knowledge on the causes, transmission and effects of COVID-19, the importance of social responsibility and the methods used to control transmission, such as correct hand hygiene and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).  You will also gain an understanding of the safe working practices required to protect yourself and clients.

The course is structured around theory, and home study, homework assignments, and online and onsite class-room tuition, practical demonstrations, online exam, complete portfolio reference and evidence. We will provide you full support and give you a guideline throughout until you complete your course.

You don’t need to bring a model

We understand that finding a model for practical assessment can be very frustrating and a big hassle. We will provide you with a model for practical work, but if you prefer to bring your own model you are welcome to. We want to see your success and complete this course with full confidence. We ensure you have enough theoretical knowledge and practical experience.

Cancellation and Refund policy:

All course fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Where cancellations are permitted, at the discretion of the Academy management, they must be received in writing and this must be within 7 days of making payment, and must be received not less than 7 days before the course commences.

Kits:

You are not required to bring your own kit for your practical assessment, however, these are available to purchase at school. The cost of the kit is not included in the course fee.

Uniform:

To attend this course you are required to wear a black tunic with black trousers, flat shoes (no heels) in black. If you don’t have a uniform, it is available to purchase at the academy.

By completing this course you will receive VTCT, Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy General
